"Memories" by Maroon 5 is considered a remix because it samples the melody from the 1990s hit "Canon in D" by Johann Pachelbel. The song combines elements of pop, rock, and electronic music, giving it a fresh and modern sound. Additionally, the lyrics and vocal delivery by Adam Levine bring a contemporary feel to the classic melody, making it a unique and updated version of the original composition. **
